Basically, Diwali is celebrated for five days. But before one week, we cleaned and decorated our house using lights and candles and coloured our house and gave our home an attractive look. On the other hand, it has a unique story behind the cleaning of the house. 

It is said that mata laxmi was born on this day, and on this day, mata Laxmi visited every house. That’sThat’s why every Hindu people clean their house. 

On the day of Diwali, my parents took us shopping for Diwali. On this day, I purchase lots of shirts, pants, shoes, and fire cracks to celebrate the Diwali festival. 

The second day of Diwali is called dhantaras. On that day, we go to the mall and shopping for some jewellery for my mother and sister. And the next day, I made a rangoli at the front of my house to decorate my home. 

On Diwali day, in the evening time, I wear my new dress and shoes, and in the kitchen, my mother and me making many dishes. At nighttime, Approx seven o clock, my whole family members and my neighbours burn candles and fire cracks together.
