Currently, an ongoing Pandemic disease, Covid-19 has attacked our nation too, and therefore we had got many guidelines or rules to be followed by the govt of India.
So here I have come with an article which explains to you All Fundamental Duties to be followed by citizens of India given by the Constitution.
India’s Original constitution only had fundamental rights, not duties but they incorporated “duties of states” in the form of the directive principle of state policy.
But later on in Emergency Fundamental Duties were added after the recommendation of Swaran Singh(1976) Committee by the 42nd Constitutional Amendment act at the time of Indira Gandhi as PM.
It was influenced by USSR. Japan also has duties of Citizens whereas big superpowers such as the USA, France, Germany, Australia, Canada don’t have.
Swaran Singh recommends 8 duties whereas in the 42nd amendment about 10 duties were added. The new part of 4A was made and incorporated in article 51A. In 2002 one more duty was added which no to 11.
